Phones get out of hand. Children get glued. Parents get tired of asking. ChoreKey ties phone access to chore completion, but only when your child is at home. Outside the house, the phone works normally. No tracking, no surveillance, no “you’re grounded”.

On Android

ChoreKey for Android runs the same core loop as the iPhone app: a home geofence, photo proof, and a parent PIN, so apps unlock once chores are approved. It's free. The parent approves right on the kid's phone, with the PIN. ChoreKey+ remote approval is iPhone only for now. Android never blocks phone calls, messages, maps, the camera, the emergency dialer, or Settings.

ChoreKey+: the Parent companion

The ChoreKey app is the whole product on your child's phone. ChoreKey+ is the optional companion that runs on a parent's iPhone. You can see what your children have submitted, approve a chore from the couch with Face ID, and add or edit chores without ever picking up their device.

We do not sell data, run ads, or use analytics SDKs. The ChoreKey app stores everything on your child's device. ChoreKey+ (Parent app) syncs to a cloud backend so you can approve chores remotely: cloud sync is off by default and only activates when you pair the apps. Photos on the child's device are cleaned up seven days after a parent approves or returns the chore; copies synced to ChoreKey+'s iCloud storage stay until you delete them. You choose exactly what gets locked, and phone calls always go through.
